So…I’d say that 6 months to 1 year in advance is probably the safest period for you to book you holidays in Mykonos but you will always find some last minute good deals if you are lucky.
Most of these hotels are at Mykonos Town , Ornos, Paraga and Agios Stefanos
So…without further ado, let’s see the Top 30 Best Luxury and Boutique Hotels of Mykonos island:
My view: the location and the pool of Cavo Tagoo is out of this world and the yummy breakfast and service just compliments that. Set your instagram on fire with those pool shots!
My view: hands down this is one of the most cosmopolitan and impressive hotels of the islands. The restaurant is one of the most well designed in Europe and the service is pure 5 star.
My view: this is a complete resort and possibly one of the most child friendly hotels of Mykonos (there is a playground!). The service is amazing and the spa is one of the best in Mykonos. Bear in mind though that you will be staying at Ornos which is not close to the Mykonos City where all the buzz is.
My view: this is one of the most famous Mykonos hotels and it is famous for some very good reasons. The staff is amazing and the location is perfect as you will be staying very close to the city centre though you won’t feel you are in the town as the pool and the amazing view will take you far far away… Oh, and the breakfast is delicious!
My view: one of the most impressive views in Mykonos with a 3 level swimming pool overlooking the cosmopolitan beach of Psarou. As a plus you get access to a small private beach which is really like a small paradise…
My view: this hotel is at Agios Ioannis which can be a bit remote for some people. However, this place is one of the highest rated hotels of the island and the main reason for this is the super attentive service and the amazing facilities.
My view: some of the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep at and staff that really care for the guests. If you don’t want to be very close to the city then this is a great option.
My view: amazing interior design and incredible architecture. The whole place shouts romance, minimalism, bohemian atmosphere and relaxing luxury…
My view: Grace is a synonym for luxury, amazing locations, incredible service and views to die for… Grace Mykonos is not an exception to that.
My view: Hands Down this is the most “instagrammed” (did that become a word…?) hotel of Mykonos. There are literally no words to describe the service. At Rocabella you won’t have just your holidays. The place is a whole amazing experience from the rooms to the amazing swimming pool and the out-of-this-world fresh breakfast. There are plenty of reasons why this hotels scores almost a 10/10 on any reviews you will find online.
My view: great location at a walking distance from the exciting Mykonos city centre and with access to a small beach.
My view: this is an old “Xenia” hotel and everyone in Greece knows that the old Xenia Hotels are situated in some of the most amazing locations in Greece. This has obviously fully redecorated and renovated but the view and the location still remains amazing. The restaurant is also one of the most romantic and impressive on the island.
My view: this is possibly one of the most affordable options of this list as this is a more basic hotel but still with amazing views and clean rooms. It’s also right at the heart of Mykonos City.
My view: large selection breakfasts, stunning views to Nammos beach, incredible service and great facilities. What else do you need in life…?
My view: this is one of the most impressive swimming pools of the whole island. This view is s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g ! Also, the staff is extremely helpful and you’ll also be very close to the Mykonos City (15-20mins walk)
My view: there is a very good reason that this place is called Boheme. There is a homey and relaxed feeling all over the place and even though it’s a relatively small hotel with only 20 rooms , the staff will be extremely helpful and pay attention to all the details that will make your stay on eof the best you’ve ever had.
My view: incredible staff, impeccable rooms and amazing views from your personal balconies. Semeli Hotel is also extremely close to the city center but that doesn’t mean you won’t feel relaxed or quiet. There is a “homey” feeling to this place.
My view: this is one of the best beach hotels of the island and it can be slightly cheaper than other hotels on this list. The restaurant is also amazing on this one. If being a few steps from the beach is your no.1 priority then this is the hotel for you.
My view: this is a real gem with one of the most impressive infinity pools of Mykonos. It’s not a surprise that this is so highly rated online, everywhere. Get ready to be wow’ed…
My view: this is one of the best breakfasts of the island. Super delicious! The private suites are really unique with very modern design and really awesome private pools (possibly some of the best you can find in Mykonos).
My view: ok…this is getting almost a perfect 10 on any reviews that you will find online and there are many reasons for that. The staff are incredible and the location is amazing overlooking Platis Yialos and Psarou beaches. Also, this is one of the hotels that don’t serve the same breakfast every day and that’s always welcomed!
My view: this is pure 5 star luxury with amazing views. The staff are very attentive and the views to Elia Beach are amazing.
My view: this is one of the newest hotels in Mykonos so everything looks and is super brand new. Mrs Evgenia, the proud owner will welcome you and show you around and that means a lot. The views to Delos island are breathtaking and the swimming pools one of the most impressive in Greece!
My view: this is not your everyday hotel. This a truly unique boutique hotel. The architect and interior designer of the place have done something magic. You don’t see hotels like this everyday and the fact that the amazing pool and the impeccable service are complimenting the whole experience is just not enough to make this place justice…
My view: super friendly staff, amazing swimming pools and a cute beach just on your doorstep. What else do you want?
My view: a private beach, really luxurious ambiance and views to die for. If you want to be close to the beach this is one of the best choices.
My view: what an incredible new hotel for Mykonos… pictures don’t do justice to this one. Stunning views to Elia Beach and great design. Just bear in mind that you will be far away from the Mykonos City (about 20mins by car and that applies to every hotel that is on Elia Beach)
My view: this is a brand new hotel. It is a completely new and ambitious project for Mykonos and the family who runs the hotel has a long history on the hospitality scene of Mykonos because they were previously running another hotel in Mykonos. The futuristic design and the incredible attention to detail make the difference on this one. The enthusiastic team that will take care of everything is also a plus.
My view: another brand new and ambitious addition to the Mykonos hotels scene. An impressive pool and a really unique interior design along with a close proximity to the main Mykonos city make all the difference here.
My view: this one is very close to the Platis Yialos Beach and it is a really luxurious hotel. The Hotel is also full of art and the staff will really go the extra mile to help you with any of your requests. I believe this one is also great for honeymoons.
In my honest opinion, the best hotel in Mykonos is Cavo Tagoo Mykonos.
There are also some very good options closer to the beach but in my opinion it is better if you stay closer to Mykonos Town as it will allow you to enjoy the beautiful and lively Mykonos town much better.
