Many people say that Mykonos is only a place for party goers who want to experience the awesome nightlife and the crazy beach parties.
I say they are all wrong!

I know many families who visit the island many times throughout the year and I have to say that Mykonos is a great place for families.
In general all the places in Greece that are close to a beach are awesome for a family with kids.
Mykonos is a great place for the kids and if you have a family and you want to visit the island then the best thing you can do is basically stay close to one of the best beaches of the island.
RECOMMENDED WEBSITES FOR HOTELS, VILLAS, FERRIES, TOURS AND FLIGHTS TO GREEK ISLANDS:
So, I suggest you’d better stay at Ornos Beach (the best for families in my opinion with lots of amenities, restaurants and awesome hotels) or Panormos or even Agios Ioannis beach.
All great choices for families (and not only…).
But in my opinion staying close to a beach in Mykonos is also great if you are a couple or in a honeymoon.
You will stay super seclusive and you will both enjoy the romantic scenery every day…and night!
Even though Mykonos might not be considered one of the most romantic destinations there is no doubt it can be a very good option of a honeymoon.
So…without further ado, let’s see the Best Beach Hotels of Mykonos island (these are all 5 star hotels):
My view: with its own unique beach, a fantastic pool and incredible service and stuff, this is the best beach hotel in Mykonos
My view: continuing the fame of Bill & Coo Hotel these suites offer some of the most romantic and seclusive private rooms on the island with their own private pools and amazing views of Agios Ioannis beach
My view: incredible beach views, beautifully designed rooms, amazing food and lots of restaurants and shops around at Ornos; also the manager (Alexandros) is one of the best on the island!
My view: possibly the biggest and most complete resort on Mykonos where the rooms have private verandas covered with vineleafs and views to the massive pool and the beautiful Panormos beach
My view: this hotel is at Agios Ioannis which can be a bit remote for some people. However, this place is one of the highest rated hotels of the island and the main reason for this is the super attentive service and the amazing facilities.
My view: this is one of the newest hotels in Mykonos so everything looks and is super brand new. Mrs Evgenia, the proud owner will welcome you and show you around and that means a lot. The views to Delos island are breathtaking and the swimming pools one of the most impressive in Greece!
My view: this is not your everyday hotel. This a truly unique boutique hotel. The architect and interior designer of the place have done something magic. You don’t see hotels like this everyday and the fact that the amazing pool and the impeccable service are complimenting the whole experience is just not enough to make this place justice…
My view: escellent family hotel by the beach of Kalafatis with a stunning pool and yummy breakfast buffes
In my honest opinion, the best hotel in Mykonos is Mykonos Blancas it is a complete massive resort that offers almost everything in the beautiful beach of Ornos village.
So, as you can see…no matter if you are a family with kids or a couple searching for a romantic nest, Mykonos has something for everyone.
Staying close to a beach in Mykonos is possibly the best thing you can do!
