Naoussa is the second largest town of Paros and it’s the place with all the buzz, the best restaurants and the best nightlife on the island. Paros is quite a diverse island with many different areas and beaches to explore but in my opinion the best area to stay is up in the north and as close as possible to Naoussa town that is home to some of the best hotels on the island and some of the best bars, restaurants and nightlife in Greece. Parikia on the other hand, has some good hotels too and it is ideal if you are visiting the island without a car for example as all the buses depart and terminate there.
The great thing about Paros in general is that it is only a couple of hours away from Athens (or Piraeus port) by ferry (always check Ferryhopper for the latest ferry schedules).

Seesoo is a great hotel in Paros and probably an excellent choice for a 17 year old but it’s not close to Naoussa at all, it’s on the other side of the island to be honest. But Paros in general is a small island and even if you stay in Seessoo you can drive to Naoussa in 20 minutes (if you rent a car which is something that I highly recommend for every greek island).
Sandaya Luxury Suites is perfect if you are looking to stay as close to Naoussa as possible. You will enjoy your stay there!

I see that you recommend to rent a car for every Greek island. I heard the bus system in Paros is very good and affordable. My friends and I are visiting Paros in early May, and we want to save money by using the buses. Do you think it’s a good idea or should we rent a car?

I highly recommend renting a car on any greek island because you will be much more flexible and you will reach beaches and areas that otherwise you won’t see, or you won’t see that easily. Having said that, the buses in Paros are totally fine and you can use them to go pretty much on any beach. Especially in May, things ar emuch more relaxed and buses won’t be that busy so it is definitely a good option. Now, as I said before, if you want to be much more flexible and go to more places than you would by wasting time on waiting the buses then you should definitely rent a car even for 1-2 days only. Hope that makes sense.
