Andros island has the unique benefit of being very close to Athens (only a 2-hour ferry) and that’s why it is very popular for Greeks who live in Athens. Andros belongs to the Cyclades group of islands in the Aegean Sea, and it’s actually one of the largest islands in Greece and the second largest in Cyclades.
